Dominique Strategic Consulting (DSC) is a young Canada-based global company with activities in many countries. We are looking for highly motivated individual who want to have an international experience and expand business in Japan and surrounding region by being a key person in developing network and clients. We specialize in the innovation sectors and especially healthcare. The time commitment can be variable and flexible (including part time) and start date is March or April 2016.

Role of the Business Development Consultant

The Business Development Consultant works to improve our organization’s East Asia position and achieve financial growth. This person will build key customer relationships with current and new prospects, identify business opportunities, negotiate and close business deals and maintain extensive knowledge of local and international market conditions. Position includes finding potential new customers, present to them, and ultimately convert them into clients with the help of our seasoned global team. They will have to set and achieve sales objectives, contact and meet companies, make presentations, attend events, understand clients’ current needs and predict their future needs.

Main duties of the Business Development Consultant

➢ Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased business
➢ Generate interest in DSC from potential clients by many means to generate recurring revenues
➢ Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging your network
➢ Research and build relationships with new clientsand decision makers
➢ Referrals, introductions and advertising
➢ Communicate with company experts and bridge culture and language barriers as needed
➢ Work with team to develop proposals that speaks to the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives

Ideal Candidate

Language

Required: Oral and Written English and Japanese

 

Education and Experience

Required: Bachelor’s degree

Preferred: MBA and 2+ years of sales or marketing experience

    Sciences and medicine experience

International experience

 

Other Skills and Qualifications

Required: Networking

Ability to work from home and independently
